The Joint Stock Commercial 'Asia
-Invest Bank' is the subsidiary bank of the National
Bank for Foreign Economic Activity of the Republic of
Uzbekistan. It was registered at the Central Bank of
Russian Federation on August 30, 1996 and licensed by
the Central Bank of Russian Federation to implement
all types of banking operations on October 1, 1996.

At the moment of its creation the
announced Charter capital of the bank was equal to USD 6450000,
or Roubles 30 702 000 thousand. That time the share of the
National Bank for FEA RUz in the Charter capital of the Bank
comprised 81%. When the JSCB 'Asia-Invest Bank' increased
its Charter capital in 1997-99 up to USD 11 065 980, the share
of the National Bank for FEA RUz made up 79.89%.
At present the founders of the bank
on the Uzbek side are represented by the NB FEA RUz, CJSSB
'Asaka', SJSA TAPC and NGMK, on the Russian side it is the
Bank of Conversion - 'Converbank'. Distribution of the shares

Since establishment the Bank has covered
a long way from settlement clearing center to full-fledged
financial institution. To day it can meet the demand of both
major industrial enterprises, SMEs and sole proprietors for
top quality banking services. The Bank offers its customers
a wide range of services including settlement collections
in rubles and foreign exchange and practically all forms of
international settlements (letters of credit (L/C), bank guarantees,
collection) as well as conversion and stock exchange operations.
The Bank has done a lot in working
with concerns and associations of the Republic of Uzbekistan
in performing export/import operations through JSCB accounts
of 'Asia Invest Bank'. To date such organizations, as state
joint stock corporation TAPC, closed joint stock society (CJSS)
'UzDaewooCenter', representative office of 'UzbekTourism'
association and that of 'UzDaewooAuto' have settlement accounts
with the Bank.
Currently the project for establishing
in Russia a joint Russian - Uzbek insurance company with JSCB
'Asia Invest Bank' and National Company for Export/Import
Insurance (NCEII) 'UzbekInvest' involvement is under consideration. At the same time the priority area
of the Bank activity is servicing the participants of Russian
- Uzbek goods flow, goods turnover. Within the framework of
single bank space of Russia and Uzbekistan established in
collaboration with leading banking institutions of Uzbekistan,
Joint Stock Commercial Bank (JSCB) 'Asia Invest Bank' is developing
customized schemes of financing its clients' international
transactions. It provides for comprehensive servicing of export/import
contracts including foreign exchange regulations prompt drawing
up of export/import transaction passports as well as settlements
in soums, the National currency of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
